What is SEO?

If you hear the term SEO a lot and you’re not sure what it means, let’s break it down in a simple way!

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. In short, it’s a set of strategies and techniques that help your website appear in the top results of search engines like Google when people search for something related to your content.

So, how does it work? 🧐

1. Keywords:
The first step is identifying the words and phrases people use when searching for products or services like yours. These keywords are strategically placed within your content so search engines can easily understand and rank your pages.

2. Content Optimization:
The better and more relevant your content is, the higher its chances of ranking on the first page. Your content should be easy to read, informative, and focused on answering users’ questions and needs.

3. Backlinks:
Backlinks are links coming to your website from other websites. They act as a signal to search engines that your site is trustworthy and valuable. The more high-quality backlinks you have, the better your ranking.

4. User Experience:
Search engines care a lot about user experience. Your website should be fast, easy to navigate, and mobile-friendly. If users find your site slow or difficult to use, they’re likely to leave quickly—this can negatively affect your ranking.

💡 Summary:
SEO is the art of optimizing your website to attract free, organic traffic from search engines. The more you improve both the technical side and the content of your site, the higher your chances of ranking at the top—meaning more visitors and better sales opportunities!
